Dr. Mauricio Lavie has acquired Dr. Hurley's old practice in Chatham, and Dr. Hurley is now practicing in Bedminster, NJ. By the agreement we have made with Dr. Lavie, he has retained all patient records from the Chatham practice. Patients from the Chatham practice should contact Dr. Lavie.

Meanwhile, Dr. Hurley welcomes any new patients to her new Bedminster practice. Please call (201) 401-1981 to schedule an appointment.

Dr. Hurley is the only female dentist who is AACD accredited in New Jersey, one of a handful of accredited cosmetic dentists in the state.

Best Dentists Recognition Awards

Dr. Hurley has been recognized as one of the best dentists in New Jersey by Better Living Magazine. Better Living Magazine selects the best dentists every four years. Dr, Hurley was first selected as the best dentist in New Jersey in 2005, and has been honored with this best dentists distinction again in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012.

New Jersey Monthly also lists her as one one of the top dentists in NJ, as chosen by her peers.

Community Involvement

Dr. Hurley is also an active philanthropist in her community. She has partnered with Operation Gratitude for the past two years by collecting Halloween candy, beanie babies, and letters to send to our overseas troops.

Each Halloween, Dr. Hurley hosts a special Candy Buy-Back event at her dental practice. Children can exchange their candy for cash, and then Dr. Hurley donates the candy to Operation Gratitude.

Girl Scout Troop #1579 has also teamed up with Dr. Hurley to help her with this campaign. See the image of these scouts as they assemble the candy shipments.

Last Halloween to November 22, 2010, Dr. Hurley collected letters that had been written to our troops overseas. She also collected beanie babies and candy to send to them. While we provide a full range of general dental services, I am a cosmetic dentist and so we place special emphasis on esthetics (cosmetic dentistry). We want to help you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted. Whether you simply want whiter teeth or a full smile makeover, we take the time to listen to you. We will discuss your goals before treatment and work in partnership with you, always respecting your desires. We provide an open line of communication, because we enjoy cultivating a lasting relationship with our patients.

Members of Dr. Hurley's staff are highly trained in CPR, and in the use of a heart defibrillator. For your comfort and safety our practice features disposable supplies wherever possible and we adhere strictly to all OSHA infection control standards. State of the art sterilization techniques are utilized at all times.

Personalized Service

Since most people find it difficult to have dentistry performed we try to make your visits as physically and emotionally as easy as possible. We wish to dispel your fears and make you feel at ease. The staff and I enjoy our jobs and love interacting with our patients. Your personal comfort is a top priority! We have cable TV, VCRs, DVDs, iPods and radios with headphones in our treatment rooms. The office was designed with comfort in mind and it’s a warm, homey, atmosphere with a fireplace in the reception area. Your time is important, so we do our best to honor your appointment time.
