The cost is a fraction of the cost of a traditional cosmetic smile makeover using porcelain veneers, and you will see results much sooner. You do need to understand that if you want a beautiful Hollywood smile, the Snap-on Smile is not for you. This will give you an acceptable smile, but it will make your teeth a little bulky, and the teeth will not be as glossy or beautiful as natural teeth. The technique for placing it is relatively straightforward. The Snap-On Smile is composed of a crystallized acetyl resin by the Den-Mat dental laboratories, located in California. Dr. Hurley first will take an impression of your teeth to make a hardened plaster model. Then she will send the impression to the Den-Mat laboratory, along with a description of the smile design and shade that will work for you. Once the laboratory returns the case, you only need to come for a quick visit and simply snap it onto your teeth. Some minor adjustments may be needed at this appointment.
